چکیده

In team handball, suitable tests determining the match-related physical performance are essential for planning of optimal training regimens. Thus, aims present study were (a) to determine relationships between and physiological test results from a handball game-based (GBPT), Yo-Yo intermittent recovery test, level 1 (Yo-Yo IR1 test) separate linear 30-m single sprint (SSPT) in female adult top-elite field players, order establish significance (validity) measuring relevant elements match-play; (b) compare evaluate aforementioned same players relation different playing positions. Twenty-three Danish Premier Female Team Handball League performed GBPT, SSPT on days. As main findings, significant correlations GBPT about 1/3 variables found, indicating that is reflecting most locomotive match activities handball. However, not correlated any included technical actions such as tackles, passes, jumping shooting during specialized movements offence defence. Overall, revealed better than players’ ability perform including both executed competitive match-play. Similar was activities, which actions. These data suggest only certain extent can measure individual capacity elite players. addition, unexpectedly no differences various positions found neither nor test. several effects sizes indicated lack positional primarily due relatively small sample size each position composition specific group conclusion, this clearly performance, measured by general SSPT, components. This must be taken consideration when using regimens
